The Village du Pecheur is on the east coast of Praslin. It is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Cote D’or.

The hotel has whitewashed walls and thatched roof, which along with the tropical wood and marble, harmonise with the local natural scenery.

This hotel is for guests over 12 years, as it is mainly focused on rest and relaxation. The hotel beach has sun beds.

Guests can dive, fish, snorkel and take excursions to nearby Islands. 

Snorkelling equipment is complimentary from the hotel. There is a local village with shops and restaurants. Boat charters are available in a beautiful motor yacht that has a master bedroom and two double rooms. 

It can be chartered for the day or overnight trips. Cocktails can be served on board for small parties.

Praslin is famous for the UNESCO World Heritage site of Vallee de Mai. It is an ancient, prehistoric forest with plants and animals that exist nowhere else. It is full of black parrots and coco de mer trees.

Guests also take excursions to La Digue, an island left behind in time. It has very few motor vehicles and everyone including visitors use oxcarts and bicycles for transportation.

It has a beautiful tropical jungle on the central mountain where people hike. Those looking for birds go to Aride and those looking for giant tortoises go to Curieuse.

The hotel has two spa treatment rooms. Guests can have massage as well as other health and beauty treatments.
